Opus Community Music School, a fast growing, non-profit music school in Sykesville, MD is seeking dedicated faculty. Come be part of a supportive, collaborative team that fosters musical excellence, growth, and passion in the next generation of musicians. Opus offers high quality, affordable music education on a semester basis with workshops, masterclasses, special events, and performances throughout the community.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Music (Master's degree preferred). Exceptional candidates with extensive professional experience and alternative education without a degree may be considered.
At least two years of relevant teaching experience.
Willingness to collaborate and attend meetings with faculty and school staff.
Availability to attend and potentially lead student performances, workshops, and masterclasses
Starting compensation varies by education and experience.
