Rebecca Borger - Administration

Shortly after her move to Maryland in 2013, Rebecca Borger discovered the treasure known as the Carroll County String Project, now Opus Community Music School. Quickly getting her children involved with piano and strings instruction- and experiencing the wonderful Ms. Peggy Ward herself (founder) and transformative Ms. Ela Wiswakarma, --as well as the privilege of being one of Ms. Anna Bross' first students at CCSP/Opus, her family has been involved with Opus in many ways for over seven years, with many fabulous Opus teachers! Rebecca has a lifelong love of music education having experienced firsthand its power, and this priority is what compelled her to find Opus during those first months in Maryland so many years ago.

The profound impact of musical training, and its importance for all, fuels her commitment to Opus to this day. One of Rebecca's strongest desires is to see the families at Opus thrive musically, and she counts it a privilege to assist as admin on the Opus team.

A graduate of Lehigh University with honors in English with Writing and Education, communication and attention to detail are high priorities. In addition, she is married to a CPA who provides expertise and support behind-the-scenes.

She is the friendly face behind the communications you receive regarding invoicing and tuition. Rebecca also assists with payroll and bookkeeping for Opus. When not assisting Opus, she works as an editor and writer and is a committed home educator.
