Our Facility

Opus has come a long way from our days as a weekend workshop in our founder's basement!

In 2012, we moved into our current home at 6217 Sykesville Rd. Built in 1945 as a bungalow-style home, it later became the main office of a contractor and then an architecture firm. Opus has since transformed the building into a music studio with seven practice rooms, a children's corner, a music library, a comfortable waiting area, and administrative space. Two practice rooms serve as dedicated grand piano studios with a 5'9" Baldwin R and a 4'7" Kohler and Campbell SLG400. We also have a classroom with four student keyboards, and an ensemble room for large groups and workshops featuring a 6'2" Brodmann PE-187. We are continuously raising funds to improve our space, and explore options for future growth.
